Kingdom Leadership Resurgence

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

The Kingdom Resurgence is a Holy Spirit led effort to call Church leaders to embrace the priorities of the Kingdom of God. The priority of Kingdom leadership is the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the essential priority of Kingdom leadership upon which the Great Commission and all other aspects of Christian discipleship are founded. The sincere prayer of the Kingdom Resurgence is Church leaders will return to this model of leadership as revealed in the New Testament.

The current state of Christian leadership in America is needing a new dynamic to be a catalyst propelling the restoration of Kingdom leadership in our local churches. The apostasy that is pervasive in the Church in America is the result of worldly and compromised leadership assimilating to the fallen culture through political, racial and cultural agendas disguised in Christian language. The remedy is a resurgence of Kingdom leadership by leaders whose loyalty and allegiance are only to Jesus the Christ and the priorities of His Kingdom.

Our Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry preached and taught continuously about the reality of the Kingdom of God. Our Lord taught the Apostles extensively about the reality and priorities of the Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ wanted the first leaders of the Church to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. The content of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God included Jesus the Christ as the Savior-King coming into this world with the ultimate purpose of redeeming sinners through His death and resurrection. The miracles of Jesus Christ validated the reality and power of the Kingdom of God throughout His ministry. After the birth of the Church the Apostles proclaimed the Gospel of the Kingdom which also was validated by miracles. The ministry of Jesus Christ inaugurated the reality of the Kingdom of God which will be fully manifested when He returns. Kingdom leaders prioritize the preaching and teaching of Kingdom truth to the Church.

Presently, local churches have experienced many models of leadership over Church history. Our current needs demand a new dynamic of leadership that has been overlooked. The dynamic is leadership that is dominated with the priorities of the Kingdom of God. The New Testament undeniably reveals the reality of a kingdom focused leadership in the early Church. The reality of the Kingdom of God was inaugurated by Jesus the Christ and promoted by the Apostles and the leaders of the early Church.

The Church in America needs Kingdom leaders. Kingdom leaders are those who called by the King of Kings, the Lord Jesus Christ. Kingdom leaders are anointed by the Holy Spirit. Kingdom leaders seek to fulfill the Great Commission and Great Commandment. Kingdom leaders lead the Church in being disciples/witnesses who seek to reach, reconcile and restore lives from sin to the Savior.
